CNA - Operating Room

The CNA - Operating Room (OR) exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of supporting the surgical team, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during surgery, with guidance from surgeons, registered nurses, and anesthesiologists.

CNA - Pediatrics

The CNA - Pediatrics (Peds) exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of assisting direct care by helping pediatricians, nurses, doctors, and other medical professionals provide treatment and services to pediatric patients.

CNA - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

The CNA - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (IMC) exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of assisting other medical team members by providing medical care to patients who suffer cardiovascular system conditions in the progressive care unit.

CNA - Psychiatric

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of assisting direct care to patients with a mental illness or mental distress.

CNA - Rehab

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and providing primary care such as bathing, grooming, and nutrition for patients with long-term physical disabilities or chronic illnesses.
