Latex Allergy

This course will provide the clinician the opportunity to build knowledge and understanding of the symptoms, types, and risk factors of latex allergy and learn the testing procedures and major approaches to managing Latex allergy.

Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD)

This course will allow the clinician to understand the types, functions, and criteria in utilizing LVAD, learn its risks, and develop skills in caring for patients with LVAD and managing LVAD complications.

LGBT Education

The exam comprises a brief background discussion and assessment to test the clinician's knowledge of caring for patients who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer (LGBTQ).

Licensed Acupuncturist

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of performing acupuncture on patients, which includes preparing herbal treatments, collecting patients' medical history, and treating patients using needles and other tools.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

The LCSW exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of population-based education, prevention, and early intervention with patients, and participation in chronic disease management, including psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and problems related to their illness, treatment, and or life situation.
