RN - Psychiatric Emergency Room

The RN - Psychiatric Emergency Room exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge in assessing and triaging patients, as well as administering stabilizing treatments, which may involve medications and, in certain situations, the use of physical restraints to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of giving timely and proper medication to patients with mental illness or mental distress.
