Safe Resident Handling and Mobility

The Safe Resident Handling and Mobility training module will provide the clinician the opportunity to build knowledge and understanding of the safe and effective handling and mobility of residents, techniques for preventing injuries to both residents and caregivers, proper body mechanics, the use of assistive devices, and strategies for minimizing the risk of falls and accidents.

Safe Sleep for infants and Children

The Safe Sleep for infants and Children training module will provide the clinician the opportunity to build knowledge and understanding of essential guidelines for reducing the risk of sleep-related accidents, emphasizing best practices for creating a safe sleep environment, and promoting the well-being of young children.

School Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of using meaningful activities to help children and youth participate in what they need and/or want to do in order to promote physical and mental health and well-being.
