The Homecare Based Respiratory Therapist exam comprises competencies that test the skills of clinicians and their ability to provide care to patients with respiratory conditions. This includes knowledge of respiratory conditions, their causes, and how to care for these patients at home, the ability to perform diagnostic exams, administer medication, and perform therapy treatments, and compassion to give emotional support to patients.
