8-Hour National Institutes of Health Stroke Care

This course will provide the clinician the opportunity to build knowledge and understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the brain, types of stroke, and its risk factors, to learn stroke recovery and rehabilitation, post-care stroke consideration, nursing management, and palliative care.

Abdominal Ultrasound

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of a medical imaging test that uses sound waves to see inside the abdomen area.

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of calculating and processing bills, invoices, accounts payable and receivable, budgets, and other financial records using manual and computerized systems.

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of daily bookkeeping and record keeping, financial reporting, and preparing tax records for financial audits.

Active Shooter Preparedness

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of being mentally and physically prepared to deal with an active shooter situation until law enforcement arrives on the scene.
